iPod TV expands with NBC Universal deal![]() In a little less than two months, since Apple launched the 5G new iPod with video, they have expanded their catolgue of downloadable iPod TV shows from five to sixteen shows with the signing of a deal with NBC Universal that will bring primetime, cable, late night, and classic television shows to the iTunes Music Store (Editor's note to Apple: might be time to rename the iTunes Music Store to something more appropriate?) The new iPod TV lineup will include shows such as Law and Order, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Office, Surface, Battlestar Galactica, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and Monk. You will also be able to download your favorite episodes of such classic television shows as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Adam-12, Dragnet, and Knight Rider from iPod TV at a cost of $1.99 per episode. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
