iPod Nano Popularity Skyrocketting

Since its release 2 weeks ago, online searches for the iPod Nano have surged by more than 200% according to Hitwise, an internet monitoring company.




Searches for Apple's newest ultra small, ultra thin iTunes player have taken over searches for the term 'iPod' itself, and are also dwarfing the number of searches for Sony's PlayStation Portable device.

On a side note, the Motorola built Rokr iPod phone has not created nearly as much interest as Apple and Motorola had hoped it would.

Maybe Apple could put a cell phone in the next iPod Nano? Wouldn't that be cool? We can only hope!
